Cans of old paint lying in garages must be disposed of correctly.
• If you have any usable paint left over, why not offer it to your local charity or
community group who may be delighted to have it.
• Local Authorities have facilities for the safe disposal of paint and other chemicals.
• Empty dried out paint containers can be disposed of with your normal
household rubbish.
• Do not empty paint into drains or watercourses.
