You can cover a large area with paint more quickly and easier with a roller than with a brush.
Rollers are particularly suitable for walls and ceilings. Always choose a roller which is suited to the surface to be painted.
• Long Pile Rollers are suitable for exterior pebble dashing.
• Medium Pile Rollers are suitable for semi rough surfaces.
• Short Pile Rollers are suitable for smooth surfaces.
• Mohair Rollers are suitable for oil based paints/varnishes.
• Thoroughly stir the paint and fill approximately one third of the
tray with paint.
• Dip the roller into the paint and roll it back and forth, then run it lightly on the ribbed part of the tray to remove excess paint.
• Push the roller backwards and forwards in a criss cross pattern.
• Do not allow roller to spin or remove roller suddenly as this will cause splattering.
• Go over painted area and lay off in straight lines to ensure even spread.
• Clean roller immediately after use.
